Dew Point Meter is a rugged and unique loop powered dew point meter capable of both gas and liquid hydrocarbon phase measurements. The Dew Point Meter uses a high capacitance aluminum oxide sensor with a measuring range of -100ºC to +20ºF or -60ºC to +20ºC. Customers can also request special ranges for special applications. The dew point sensors provide a high degree of accuracy, speed, of response and stability unavailable from instruments using conventional aluminum oxide or polymer sensors.

HART-Compliant Dew Point Transmitter

The Analyzer is a HART compliant dewpoint transmitter, providing loop powered analog as well as a digital output. Housed in a 32mm dia. Stainless steel housing it has an overall length of 136mm including the Industrial Standard 9.4mm 4-pin connector.

Measurement Accuracy & Stability

The transmitter uses a multipoint calibration table which provides temperature compensated dewpoint readings for temperatures from -10ºC to +70ºC with the option of going below -10ºC. Thus, the Analyzer provides accurate dewpoint measurements over its full range even under extreme temperature conditions, such as when installed outdoor or close to heat sources.

• The portable dew point meter, is a battery operated, hand-held, hygrometer, designed for applications where quick and accurate dew point measurements have to be made.

• The dew point meter, utilizes aluminum oxide sensors which adsorb water molecules much faster than they desorb water molecules. It is therefore an advantage, if at the beginning of the measurement the dew point sensor is dryer than the gas sample to be measured. The dew point meter keeps the sensor in dry storage until the measurement is taken. The sensor slides directly from the dry storage into the sample cell, without ever coming in contact with ambient air. After the measurement is completed, the sensor slides back into the dry storage, where it is dried down for the next sample.
• High capacitance sensors have a very low residual capacitance when dry and saturate at a predesigned level of humidity above +20ºC (+68ºF). This allows a SpanCheck of the sensor by exposing the sensor to a saturated environment for one minute and adjusting the instrument to its upper range limit. It is preferred that the customer use a known gas to determine the saturated environment. The advantages of this are obvious: The dew point sensors can be field calibrated anywhere and anytime. Sensors do not have to be returned to the factory for recalibration, which also eliminates the need for a second stand-by sensor.

• Dew Point dew point transmitter is the world’s smallest loop powered (2-wire) dew point transmitter with a display. The compact dew point Transmitter is a fully functional instrument operated through a miniature custom LCD display and three push buttons. The analog output is linear to the engineering units selected for display and is user configurable. A weatherproof cap is available for outdoor NEMA 4X (IP65) applications.

• Field span check NIST/NPL traceable multipoint calibration. Can be calibrated in the field which is not possible with our competitors. Dew point sensors can be field calibrated anywhere and anytime. Sensors do not have to be returned to the factory for recalibration.
